Ways to highlight every other row

I am looking for ways to hightlight every other row - other than highlighting a section, applying a conditional format formula of =mod(row(),2)

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

Why are you looking for another method? Is there a particular problem for you (eg calculation speed) with using this method?
