Hi
I have a sheet that list works order obtained by ms query. in columc C I have a sheduled start date, in column G I have the number of hours needed to produce the order. In column H I wanted to have the completion date based on an 8 hour working day, I used =C11+(G11/8) which is fine except it does not allow for weekends. Is there a way to calculate the completion date using week days only. Im using office 2007 but my work book needs to work in office 2003 as well.

Thanks
Steve

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hi,

Try =Workday(start_date,number_of_days)

hi
not quite sure how to use this tried =WORKDAY(C11,G11) it added 98 days for a 70 hour order, can you give me more details on how to use the formula
