Office Version
  1. 2019
Platform
  1. Windows
For example I add Reference to Outlook and Access object library and send to somebody with...
1. older Office version
2. the same Office version
3. newer Office version

Every Reference is deselected automatically?
Or - if there is a matching file name - that reference is kept? And only the remaining References are deselected?

So what happens is cases 1-2-3?

Thank you very much, have a nice day

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
References to other application object libraries are generally forward compatible, but not backwards. They will never be deselected, but if they are unavailable they will be flagged with 'MISSING:' at the start of the name, and your users will most likely get runtime errors like "Can't find project or library". If you need to support different versions, you should late bind your code if possible.
