What to do with this data?

Hi everyone,

*Back story* I am applying for a job as a 2nd assistant junior data analyst (mouthful) and I can currently on my 2nd interview (which is tomorrow). They have given me a random set of data downloaded off the world data bank and given me the following instruction:

"The second round interview will be a more practical exercise and will require some preparation. I have attached two spreadsheets of real data. Can I please ask you to provide a brief summary of this data in a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation should be no longer than 2 slides and should include at least one graph. It is your decision what aspects of the data you would like to present and I will provide no further guidance about content."

I cannot for the life of me decide what I want to do with this data, and to only display it on 2 power point slides? It is alot of data, just to put on 2 slides.

Could someone please guide/assist me with what I should do? I was initially thinking of a word heat map, but could not find a method for this.

My advice: Try to figure it out by yourself (for e.g. research with google etc.). In case you get the job you'll have to provide a lot more than this and it is good to be prepared an not to be dependant on help from a forum.

I do not want to be rude or something. It's just my humple opinion.

To give you constructive advice: Try to condense and interpret the given data. You could show differences between some countries or differences over the years. Read the task and do what is asked for (at least one graph to visualize data). Maybe there is some background info for some unexpected developments and so on.
