Ok so here is the deal... It is not only Ebay but the new thing for online purchases is to let the consumer pick variations of something. Now, for Small Medium Large this is not really an issue. But for me I am selling something that requires the purchase of two items. For example... If you choose a shirt you must choose a tie as well. So if I choose a red shirt... and a blue tie. that = two item number inside of the one that Ebay / online store is giving me.

I am thinking VLookup but I wanted to see what you all had to say was the best practice... My thought is VLOOKUp but I can't even imagine how to configure it to do the task.

The CSV report that would come to me is 123456 = Red shirt | Blue Tie... I want it to then give me two rows for the items that were purchased inside of that Variation Item #...

Another way i was figuring to do this is I could create a seperate workbook called Variation purchases... This would be important for my online store and Ebay store... The idea would be that I load in all of the variations in Ebay and my online store I create as a reference when I enter in the single Item number (variation) the Item field in my Master Sales worksheet would get populated with the corresponding item numbers per piece...

Before I go any further what would be a way to accomplish something like this as simple as possible?

thanks so much...
