I just found that the "old text" argument in =substitute() is case sensitive. Then I tried Conditional Formatting--> Text that contains, and found it is not case sensitive. I am sure there are other functions or tools, one use case sensitive and other not. Is there any rule about that so I can remember when it is case sensitive and when it is not? Thank you very much.
