Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
If you mean to active the worksheet named "Home" in a particular workbook, then something like this could be used in the Workbook_Open() event:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    On Error Resume Next
    Worksheets("Home").Activate
End Sub

  • How to use the above code:

    Press Alt-F11 to open the VBE.
    Press Control-R to open the Project Explorer.
    Click "Microsoft Excel Objects" for the file you're working on.
    Double-click the ThisWorkbook module.
    Paste the above code in.
    Press Alt-Q to close the VBE and return to Excel.

Hope that helps!
