Excel Joke
Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
i think your And may be misquoted:

DoCmd.OpenForm "frmLTSByMachDisplaySpef", , , "[MachineName]= '" & Me.txtMachineName & "' And [txtBlankStatus]='" & Me.txtFilterCheck & "'"

The And as you have it is positioned to be the logical operator for the criteria string being concattenated
& Me.txtMachineName & "'" And "[txtBlankStatus]='" &

The And as written here
& Me.txtMachineName & "' And [txtBlankStatus]='" &
is used as a logical operator within the sql/query statement; so it's passed through as part of the sql statement.

Same ways

keep your ampersands(&) to connect strings
keep your logical And inside the strings so they are part of the sql.

NOTE: watch the whitespace inside the sql statement:
This would render a syntax error: "'And [txtBlankStatus]='"
