Hi all,

I know this is a stupid question, but i'm at my wits end. i had a couple files open, and then hit a box that looked like a maximize window box, but then the file disappeared and i can only view a gray screen.

i closed excel without saving and reopened, but it still shows only the gray screen when i open that file. i can open other files normally.

any ideas on how i've managed to screw this up, and how i can fix it?

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
You could also try this link:
http://www.officearticles.com/excel/no_worksheet_appears_in_microsoft_excel.htm

Also, this:
1. Open Excel
2. Click the Microsoft button (Round button top left)
3. Click on the Excel Options button
4. Select Add-ins on the left menu
5. At the bottom of the screen make sure the pull-down window says excel add-ins
6. Click Go
7. Enable the look-up wizard
8. Put a check mark beside Lookup Wizard
9. Click OK
