Who is an expert with correlations using criteria?

Thanks in advance for the help. I am running correlations with a large amount of data and i cant do a data analysis correlation matrix because of the size. So...

Example1 picture: Cells C5 to C18 change based on what i type into cell c2. I need to figure out the correlation formula for cell E5 (picture "Example1").

All of the information to correlate is in "example 2" in a separate tab on my sheet. The kicker is its not just the players for atlanta, its the universe of players from all teams. so I need a formula that correlates n rows in "example 2" based on the player i reference in "example 1". if that makes sense?
