Hi there,

I'm programming a macro in which the user specifies a certain folder.

The macro should then look through the folder to find all files starting with "PR". I then want all these files to be displayed in a window for the user to choose a selection of these files to be edited.

Can someone assist me in creating such a window? The window should display all "PR" files, allow the user to select the files and then close with an OK button.

Thanks in advance

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Are these files that start with PR Excel files?
Since you're allowing the user to specify the folder, why not use the standard Open dialog box, but just show files that start with PR and of whatever type you need?
Do you want to actually open the files or if not what do you want to do with the filenames selected?

Hi there,

i want to display all the files starting with PR, which are only Excel files. The data in the files should be merged. So, I want to display all the files, the user selects a few and they are then opened, merged and closed.

Is there a different window available other than the Open dialog to perform such a task?
