I was wondering if anybody knew of a program that will convert a windows help file to an HTML file. Vista is doing away with the help files so I want to convert them into HTML for easy viewing.

Thanks for the help.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Dominic,

Thank you for the reply. The help file that I have is not a CHM file but is a *.hlp file. When I try to open that file in HTML help workshop I get this

Hi depcdivr

As far as I'm aware, the HTML Help Workshop won't convert from .hlp to .chm. However,as your ultimate goal is to end up with .html files, perhaps you need to look for software that will convert from .hlp to .html.

I've never actually used any so can't make any recommendations, but this is what Google turned up.
