Running Excel 2007 on Vista.

I have a macro-enabled Excel workbook. If I close the workbook, and subsequently open up VBA, .xlsm file is still listed in the VBA project list. However, when a colleague works with the same workbook, this does not happen.

I could provide lots more details, except I don't know which ones are relevant. So I'll wait for some feedback.

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
In my experience this is usually down to the presence of a COM add-in whose LoadBehavior values in the registry is set to 3. Setting it to 2 cures the problem generally.
See for example this thread at DDOE.

Yow. This is sort of over my head. Some basic questions:

* How can I see a list of COM Add-ins for my machine?

* How can I see and change the LoadBehavior value?

* What does the value of "3" mean, vs. a value of "2"?

* What are the drawbacks of doing this? Will it cause some unexpected behavior in the COM Add-in?

Any user-specific ones will be listed in the COM Add-ins dialog (you can get to that by adding the COM Add-ins button to one of your toolbars) Unfortunately, ones installed for all users do not appear in the list so you have to check the registry for them.
They are listed at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns

in the registry.
The various values for LoadBehavior can be found here. You may want to try 9 instead of 2, or you may want to set all to 0 and then re-enable them one by one until you find out which is causing the issue.
