I open an Excel 2013 workbook with VBA inside an Access 2013 application with the following:
Dim xlAPP As Excel.Application
Dim wKb As Excel.Workbook
Set xlAPP = New Excel.Application
xlAPP.Visible = True
Set wKb = Workbooks.Open(FileName:=sNewxlsx, ReadOnly:=False)
Call WaitSeconds(2) '80'000 ROWS HAVE TO BE LOADED
ActiveWindow.Visible = True
My issues:
(1) Sometimes the workbook is visible, sometimes not.
(2) In the event of a code crash, the opened workbook becomes invisible and I must reboot to open the file again.
Questions:
(1) How do I make the workbook always visible, i.e. with every execution of the program.
(2) On a mere Access program restart, how do I delete the invisible workbook; the program always starts from raw data, only the final result is saved.
Thank you in advance for your responses and courtesies.
