I applogise for not showingto a screen shot....to thick work it out.

Sheet1
I have a calander that changes dates etc on change of month

for each week i have three rows

row 1 date
row 2 is blank and will have a h or H input
row 3 is a count of those hols previously input to show haow many off.

Sheet2 has dates running in column A by single date for about 10 years
with person id running columns B to amount of staff.

I then intend for people to select an employee id and see his chart for a year.

on input to calander the person selects month and types emp.id in a cell

I've got most of it worked out in my head and am happy to do all the ruturn stuff by simple formulas.

There is a question here somewhere......

What code do I need to run on pressing a save button to get the H's to hard code as 1's on page 2 for the employee and date?

I missed a step,

OK so I am looking to save the H's as described above but also in thinking about it when I key in this persons number his H's need to re=appear on that line so I can delete them if he/she cancels

I'm sure I have seen this or do I need to

1. Create individual sheets for each person and look up master table from there?

2. Create the form in some form of input box.

3. Is the answer as simple as when pressing the save button I save sheet2?
