hello,

im trying to create a macro that will take the worksheet out of the workbook, and copy it to a new workbook.

i have a workbook where i enter info into the first worksheet and then it is used to fillin redundant information on the next 7 or 8 worksheets. from there, i have to copy the worksheet to a new workbook and send it out.

can any one help me out with this?

also, is it possible to drag over more than one work sheet?

thanks,

christian

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Try playing with this:
Sheets("Sheet4").Copy Before:=Workbooks("TestFile.xls").Sheets(1)

You can easily copy a worksheet to a new workbook like this.
Code:
ActiveSheet.Copy
This will create a new workbook with only the ActiveSheet in it.
