On a userform, can you put data in a calendar control, similar to a planner? For example, there is a meeting on Friday. How could I write "Meeting 7:00 pm" to the Friday box on the calendar control?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
The calendar control is nothing more than a calendar that, when double-clicked, returns the selected date in a variable. Then you have to do something with that variable.

What did you want to do with that date?

Thanks for the reply. I've been using the DTPicker drop down box to select dates on my userforms, and then entering text and other data events for that specific date. Sometimes it's easier to visually see the events on a calendar rather than a list of dates. I'm sure there are programs out there that do that(Outlook?). It's really not a problem, just an idea I had to make my forms more user friendly.

Just drop the calendar control on the userform. On the code page use something like this.

Private Sub Calendar1_DblClick()
ActiveCell = Calendar1.Value
End Sub
