count if sum help in order of time leaving please

hi can any one help please,

really stuggling to get this numbering to work,

i have a list of wagons days leaving and need to order them with numbers counting,


wagon leaving sum needed to auto count according to time leaving like below

mon early	1
mon early	2
mon am	4
mon pm	7
mon lunch	6
mon early	3
mon am	5
mon pm	8
mon pm	9
mon lunch	6
tue am	10
tue pm	12
tue lunch	11

thanks, but im trying to get it to count upward so i can sort by number order

i tried this =(0*0)&COUNTIF($E$1:E1,E1)

i tried this =IFERROR(INDEX(I$1:I1, MATCH(H2, H$1:H1, 0)), MAX(I$1:I1)+1)

i just have a list of leaving dates and i need it to give them numbers counting upwards, its hard to explain sorry
