=IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP($A30,MList,5,FALSE)),"",IF(VLOOKUP($A30,dBase,4)="",""&VLOOKUP($A30,MList,5,FALSE),VLOOKUP($A30,MList,2,FALSE)&"
"&VLOOKUP($A30,MList,5,FALSE)))

I'm trying to return two concateana'd values; and print them one above the other a la 'alt+enter'. At the moment I'm working around with 'alt+enter' in the formula itself.

Is there a less wasteful way to do this?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
You can insert Line Feeds in a formula by using the CHAR() function:

="This is on the first line" & CHAR(10) & "This is on the second line"

and ensure that you have this formula cell formatted to show wrapped text.

You can actually embed char(10) as part of your formula - though I think this will only work if you have wrap text on (that might not be acceptable - sorry)
