I want to give the read-only users the possibility to refresh their
    workbook.
    With: Activeworkbook.updatefromfile
    I created the possibilty.

But the macro's in Workbook_open() are NOT executed.
    It doesn't help to put:
    Activeworkbook.runautomacros (xlAutoOpen)
in de macro, because it looks like the original macro is closed at the
    moment of updating.
How do I automatically start the Workbook_Open() or is there an other
    solution?

    Thanks in advance
    Ton

Try Application.Run "[WorkBookName]!Workbook_open" somewhere in there. Not sure I got problem 100%...
