Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

The IF function in...

=DATE(IF(0+(LEFT(A1,2))<30,2000,1900)+LEFT(A1,2),1,RIGHT(A1,3))

...isn't necessary as explained in the Excel help topic for "How Microsoft Excel performs date and time calculations". The formula...

=DATE(LEFT(A1,2),1,RIGHT(A1,3))

...is all that's needed.
