All,

Is there anyway to set a variable equal to the Control Source in a list box contained on a user form? I've had it link to a cell but never to a variable. I need it to link to a variable because it could reference multiple sheets.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Don't think so I think If you created an object you might be able to but I'm not sure how to go about it try reading the help file on Controlsource

Try
<Pre/>
Dim MyVar

MyVar = Me.ListBox1.ControlSource
MsgBox MyVar

</pre>
