Automatically transferring text cells from one workbook to a

I have a workbook of text data ('master') which is a compilation of data from other Excel 'source' workbooks. The 'source' workbooks are logs of maintenance to equipment. Can anyone help me find a way to automatically update my 'master' workbook whenever I add new data to a new cell in my 'source' workbooks?
