How does one display and print a value that is different from that in a cell?

For extensive calculation purposes that involve both the column and the row a cell occupies, I have numeric values in all cells. However, in some cells that numeric value actually repersents text. There are only seven different values that represent text. The complication is that for further calucations the values MUST remain numeric.

Is there a way to retain the numeric value in the cell, but display the text it represents?

    Thanks

    Bob

    Actually NOT
The values and formulas in the cell MUST remain the same.
I need the text ONLY when the spreadsheet is printed.

Close but were not there yet.
the spreadsheet contains over a thousand values and formulas. The ones that need to be text are the result of calculations and will occur at what seems to be random. Locating each cell that needs to be converted to text even in a copy of the original spreadsheed would be, for me, time consuming and difficult.

Yes I understand that that gives a total copy of the spreadsheet including all formulas formattinmg comments etc. But that still does not solve the problem of automatically changing the value of a cell to text depending on the value in the cell.
I still have to search the spread sheet for the special values and change each one. Each time I change a value to text that would cause other values to be calculated incorrectly. Thus defeating the purpose of the copy of the original spreadsheet.
