Hi Guys,

I have an issue with a formula I cannot resolve. As you can see from the table above,I have three rows of information, which I need to collate into 1. Essentially, one of the columns B,C or D has a price (number), the other two columns will not be a number but writing.

Unforunately, my data is a bit different, so the price will always be in one of the 3 columns. Is there a formula I can use in column E to always extract the number?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Bal_Ocado,

If the other 3 of the 4 columns are always text then you can just use Sum to extract the number?

=SUM(A1:D1)

Cheers,
Alan.
