#Num! Error is Access Report Formula

What is the MS Access equivalent of an If(Iserror) formula in Excel?

Here is the formula I am trying in Access and I still get a #Num! error on the report.

=IIf(IsError([Margin $$]/[Net Sales]),0,[Margin $$]/[Net Sales])

How can I fix?

There is no ISERROR in Access.

What are you actually trying to do?

Are you trying to avoid division by zero?

Yes- trying to avoid division by zero.

Does this work?

=IIf([Net Sales]=0,0,[Margin $$]/[Net Sales])

or perhaps this

=IIf(IsNull([Net Sales]),0,[Margin $$]/[Net Sales])
