I am putting this out there to see if anyone has had any issues with files becoming hopelessly encrypted.

See message here:

"All of your files were protected by a strong encryption with RSA-2048 using CryptoWall.
More information about the encryption keys using RSA-2048 can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSA_(cryptosystem)"

This message (along with several other paragraphs explaining what has happened to my files) came up on my computer.
ALL of my excel files (along with Word, Jpeg, PDF etc) were altered and are now unreadable.

Since the excel files are most important, I wanted to see if anyone has seen this before and created a "cure".

A simple maleware cleanse took care of the problem but not before hurting my files.
I hope someone smarter then the criminal that created this can do something.

Thx, Jeff
