Hello All,
This is Kody, aka Sp3cial K. I have recently joined MRExcel in hopes to find methods to creating passages through excel to better my thoughts that run through my head. Some may think I'm crazy, but I truly believe that with the thoughts of others and myself, that a simple game can be cracked, leading us all to making a lot of money.

As I look at life, I know, just as any other smart person knows, life revolves around numeric patterns. And what I have seen by joining this site is that there are a lot of smart people out there. So, What I have decided to do is to write this as an invite to those interested. The game I play is Keno, it can be found in most states that carry lotto, not just at casinos. Keno is a numbers game where you pick 1-10 numbers of 80. There are 20 numbers drawn and if your numbers match, then you win depending on what sequence of numbers you choose.

Now, I have played every sequence there is. Here in Missouri, The winnings are as follows:

4spot.gif
3spot.gif
2spot.gif
1spot.gif

<tbody>
</tbody>

What I have found is your best chances to win, are simply picking two numbers. If two out of 20 numbers hit, you win 10/1 odds. So, what I am trying to find, is a formula in excel that we can use, to configure the next drawings to show us at least 2 numbers that will come in. This sounds easy I'm sure, I've been racking my brain trying different methods, count, sum, and even predict (which has slipped my mind of the formula name, but you take certain numbers in a row and it tells you what the next number should be) Anyway, Billions of people play the lottery, everyone is looking for that edge to make more money aside from their real-life job. I am looking for others interested in trying to devise a pattern or formula in excel that we can figure out the next drawing up to three drawings ahead. If interested, reply to this post, share the post and maybe with more minds then 1, we can find a solution.

this is a hot topic!

Some years ago I read a book, http://www.amazon.com/Thirteen-Against-Bank-Roulette-Unbeatable/dp/1843440326

It describes winning on roulette. As I recall an important element of the technique was a smart decision on how much to bet at each spin of the wheel. It was a softly-softly approach in that respect to limit losses. When a hot sequence of numbers was encountered, that is when gains could gradually be made: otherwise it was very slow. Still it is described as having been very successful.

Random hmmmm

I'm a firm believer that the lotto s not as random as people may think it is. I'm not familiar with keno but have studied the lotto in great detail for two years now. Joan Ginther has won millions , some with scratch offs, others with hand picking numbers. The scratch offs were cracked in Canada back in 2011 and the All or Nothing in Texas was cracked this past year. When the All or nothing was cracked the man was stupid enough to brag to the LC so they shut it down and changed the matrix. I personally know a man in NH that averages $30,000 a month....no typo he ....$30,0000 a month playing thick 3 and 4. I've written and still writing code in excel that has won me 2 Two Step jackPots and $10,000 4 takes and $million in the Power-ball. So..... Random hmmm to a point. It's pretty clear to me that someone thought I was on to something because back in Sept I hot hacked s bad 2 Microsoft engineers couldn't help me un corrupt nor crack ino my own files that got password protected by someone other than I It took me almost 6 weeks and learning how to program in hexadecimal again to regain entry. I'm still recovering but played for the first time two weeks ago since sept 2013 and got 5/6 on the power-ball. All this being said ...continue to think outside the box, study the laws of attraction , NEVER give up and you to will get WHATEVER it us your looking for. You will always have those that will tell you your odds of winning the power ball jack pot are like 120 million to 1. Well, I don't like THEIR odds, I like mine. When I go purchase a ticket , one of two things will happen. I will win or lose. So, my odds are 50/50%. (-: don't give up and you will succeed

The world of probability from an air machine gets better each day. Although there are no crystal balls you can come darn close using pattern recognition. Good luck!

"You will always have those that will tell you your odds of winning the power ball jack pot are like 120 million to 1. "" - your words !

You clearly do not understand the first thing about probability (odds). The probability of an event happening is 1 in x . If x is less than one then it is more likely to happen than not. If the odds of winning are 120 million to one, then I am off to buy my ticket. In fact I will buy 10,000 tickets.

I may not understand the probability of odds but I've learned my way to the LC and the bank. Mapping out Austin next.lol. No flame here as I've always enjoyed the yin yang Keeps me going

No offense but we need to know what you spent as well as what you win to evaluate the results. It's not the amount won but the net take that matters. For that matter, we don't even know what Ginther spent over the course of decades of playing ... it may not even really be a winning proposition for her!

Re: Random hmmmm

I actually track that. My hours programming and gathering statistics on an average were 40-55 hrs a week for 7 months and still on going I'm still researching to gain more reliability. Playing 1 game approx 4 hours Since August 2013 I budget myself to playing 2 games. The Texas Two Step and Power Ball. Spending $480 a month. I allowed myself $500 a month to play. My earnings as of this past Saturday $642,000 give or take a few bucks

as as for Joan I'm told she spent minimal like every now and then on a specific date $20 here , $20 there. I really don't know. You can also go to New Hampshires Lotto web site and you will see a couple of guys there AVERAGE $7500 to $35,000 a month. One month a single person earned over $100,000. I know one of these guys and we speak often to exchange ideas. I'm not sure if they still publish names but I believe they still post amounts won.

I will admit its ALOT of hard brain power and an average of 2 hours of sleep at night but one day I hope it's time well spent once I win a few big jackpots

Re: Random hmmmm

Hmmm, so basically we know nothing about what anyone else is spending (neither Ginther nor those New Hampshire guys), but you say *you've* cracked the code and earn huge returns on your investment.

I'm afraid I'm not convinced by your story. You may be confusing pure luck (which, after all, does provide some people with million dollar jackpots) and so-called cracking the code. It would be necessary to actually see your bets and your results and compare them to expected values, and/or to the population at large playing the same game. What happens again and again is that we don't get anyone capable making those calculations because they don't understand how to evaluate probabilistic trials. In short, you've got an amazing claim but where are the hard facts?

Re: Random hmmmm

I would like to see something like mathematical odds of winning prize 1 = 1 in 5000

games played by me = 10,000
(mathematically expected wins = 2)
my wins 27
wins in first 2500 games 7
second 9 third 6 fourth 5

Re: Random hmmmm

The theory on Ginther seems to be (one possibility, other than luck or a secret algorithm having to do with numbers) is that she worked out how the scratch-offs are printed. These types of lotteries aren't truly random in the sense that the number of winners is determined in advance and in fact printed and distributed in advance. Possibly Texas used some repeatable method in determining how to print and distribute tickets. Seems to me like that's kind of dumb -- they should be "mixing it up". Anyway, if so, her secret was not in the numbers but in analyzing the (physical) distribution of the scratch off cards and finding a way to exploit the process.

Mathematical odds of winning 27 games when odds are 1:5000 (assume playing 10,000 games): basically nil. Do we have *another* person who has cracked the code here?
