    file size way too large

    I have a 2010 Excel file with three tabs, one that only has any data on it... and it only has 26 rows and 34 columns that have any data??? the file size is 5.2MB??? same file saved as 97-2003 is more than half the file size smaller at 2.1MB??? Can anyone help! Thanks, Sybo2
