Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible with the analysis tool-pack to get the date of 3 workdays ago. For instance if I ask it on monday 9/18, it should answer 9/13 (wednesday).

Thank you

=WORKDAY(A1,-3)

Where A1 stores 9/18 as an Excel date.

This is excluding week-ends. Is it possible to also exclude holidays (according to the US calendar)?

Yes, it's the third argument.

=WORKDAY(A1,-3,B1:B25) where B1:B25 have the (Excel) dates of your holidays.

So you have to write the list of holidays yourself. Isn't there a way to get the answer excluding standard US holidays (like 4th Uly, Labour Day, etc)?

You have to list them yourself. There really isn't a "standard" list anyway (do you count President's day? What about Columbus day? Day after Thanksgiving? Christmas Eve? Election Tuesdays? The Auto industry gives the first day of hunting season [they call it "Veteran's Day", but the day they give you isn't actually Veteran's Day, it's the first day of hunting season] Every company's is going to be different...)
