Hi All,
I have a couple of questions with a database I have taken over.

1) I'm trying to make a field on a form mandatory, so that if one of our Reps clicks save, and the telephone number is not completed, it will prompt them to complete the field. I'm not sure if this is possible, but any help would be appreciated.

2) The same form also has 3 check boxes. What we'd like to accomplish is to set it so that when our check box marked "Pick Up" is checked, that triggers the "approval code" field to become mandatory.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
There are two quick ways to resolve the Required issue.
Modify the table that the form is based on, click on the field you want users to have to fill in. Down in the lower section of the screen is an option to set Required to Yes/No. Set this to Yes. Users should not be able to leave that record until that required field contains data.

The other way is to enter code in you Save button. If the field is null, then msgbox the user that they must enter text in so-so field.

For now, I think I would steer you towards the table modification.
