I want to have this format in order to name a page without characters a [ ] : / showing dates for the pages name.
This works
ActiveSheet.Name = Format(Date, "DD-MM-YY")
But instead giving me todays date i want to get the date from range("F8") but keep the same format.
Thank you.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
ActiveSheet.Name = Format(Date, "DD-MM-YY")
As long as F8 contains a valid date entry (and not a text one), just use:
VBA Code:
ActiveSheet.Name = Format(Range("F8"), "DD-MM-YY")
