Add every other row

Hello,
Does anybody know how to add every other cell in a column, for example I have 2 rows, one with dollars and right under percentage I only need to add dollars.

Try posting a sample of your data

This would sum the even rows in E2:E100

=SUMPRODUCT(MOD(ROW(E2:E100)-ROW(E2)+1,2),E2:E100)

This is one way you could do it:

=SUMPRODUCT(MOD(ROW(A1:A100),2),A1:A100)

which would sum odd rows in the range. And:

=SUMPRODUCT((MOD(ROW(A1:A100),2)=0)+0,A1:A100)

to sum even rows.
