How do I insert the Current user into the value I am trying to add to cell R3 (see below)?
Thanks for the Help!

Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
CurrentUser = Environ("UserName")

Sheets("TitlePage").Select

'Sheets("Search").Range("R3").Value = "User XXXXYYY.SUUEEHSH verified that they read the opening statements"

UserForm2.Hide

End Sub

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Remember, variables must appear OUTSIDE of the double-quotes. Anything within double-quotes is treated as literal text.
And you sew/concatenate literal text and variables together with the "&" operator.

So you would need something like:
VBA Code:
Sheets("Search").Range("R3").Value = "User " & CurrentUser & " verified that they read the opening statements"

Solution
I would say:
VBA Code:
Sheets("Search").Range("R3").Value = "User: " & CurrentUser & " verified that they read the opening statements"
