Hello,

Does anyone know how to add a vertical scroll bar to all panes after adding splits? I do not want to use new windows or freeze panes, only split panes. I'm using the Mac 2008 version. Many thanks.

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Welcome to the board.

To add extra scroll bars when using split panes would take up unneccesary space, and would defeat the object of split panes.

You say you do not want to use new windows, however, this would be the only way to achieve your desired result.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not looking to defeat any purpose. Basically I have data entry in cell range A1:D1000, and a results table in cell range F4:M22. I'd like to scroll up & down in the data entry cells without moving the results cells.

Cheers

Working within the limitation of Excel is all part of the challenge.

Could you start your data range at line 23, and use freeze frames to keep lines 1 to 22 fixed at the top of the screen?

cheers
