I'm trying to add an extra set of data labels to a column chart in excel 2010.
The original data is calculated as a percentage and I need to have a data label showing the remaining number as a figure not a percentage

For example I expected 50 people for a course and only 42 turned up. My chart shows a deficit of 16% but I want a data label showing me I was 8 people under subscribed. Due to the large difference in people expected for each course just using a column graph on numbers is not beneficial for me report as 1 course has 10 people and another course has 3000.

Unfortunately I am unable to import any add on to solve this problem due to security measures.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
