Hello,
At our facility, our start of day is 0700. Shifts that cross over midnight are counted toward the previous days date. I am trying to get a value inserted into one of the cells based on the start time and the end time.
Insert a number, between 0 - 1 based on the number of hours during that 4hour block that a person worked. Example, if a person works 0800 - 1600, In the 0700 - 1100 column, it would be a 0.75, while in the 1500-1900 column, it would be a 0.25. If the person works 0700 - 1500, the 0700-1100 column would have a 1 while the 1100-1500 column would have a 1 also. For the midnight example look at Erin Muller(3rd row) Her Count Columns for 1900-2300, 2300-0300, 0300-0700 would each have a 1 in them.
Please help with a formula. There will be shifts as short as 2hours total in length and up to 18 hour in length.

Thank you for any help you can offer.
