Hey Excel experts, I have my university class routine excel. I have added one additional column at the beginning to show how many days left ("class date"-Today()) to a particular class or exam. So it contains dynamic value which changes each day I open the file.. like a count down. For each class there is one row (days left, subject, date, room number). Which means there are number of classes being held on the same dae-- ie. showing the same days left value).
Now my question is how can I insert one additional row for each free days in between without doing it manually each time ( it is a huge routine for the whole semester )
thanking you
SAM

Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Welcome to the Board!

Please use Excel Jeanie (see link in my sig) to post a sample of the data layout that you are stating with and then a sample of how you want it to look.
