I'm using 365 version 2401. I can't use the XL2BB at work.
The data I used to calculate Column 2 is from the start and end date column that I was able to format into the Hours column using the formula =Col end date - Col start date (the blank end date result in #NUM!). Then I use the formula =INT(Hours cell) & " days, " & HOUR(Hours cell) & " hours, " & MINUTE(Hours cell) & " minutes to get my days, hours, minutes results.
I need the sum of each category (A,B,C) in Column 4
If you have to add up the sum using the Hours column, how do you get rid of the negative numbers?
Sorry guy,
I figured it out. I used the Hours column to get what I wanted. I converted the negative numbers in the Hours column to 0 using =MAX(0,end date - start date). The use the Sumif formula to get the sum of each category.
