Hi everyone, new here.

I'd like to know if I can set up an alert or message of some time, if a stock number that I type in is already present elsewhere in the Excel file (whether on the same sheet or different sheet). Is something like this possible via formula or macro?

Thanks!!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Well you should be able to use a macro. I'm not quite good with coding but you can you research the .find extention for range.
