How could I protect the spreadhseet from user input except to two ranges:
I10:I200 and O10:O200?

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
select the range you want to be able to put data in and then go to format, cells, protection and uncheck locked then protect the sheet

Thanks, it worked....

Now it does not allow reading data from internet, I suppose I have to add a sub that takes the protection off before reading data and closes the sheet from writing after it?

This is interesting!
