Hi all. I running into an issue using the =hyperlink function to create a clickable cell based on urls that are pulled into the cell via a vlookup.

Code:
=HYPERLINK(IFERROR(VLOOKUP($C18,Sheet1!$C:$U,7,FALSE),"no data"))

this works fine for most links but some links that are pulled go to a page that uses SSO and these links always generate an error. If I copy and paste the same links into the same browser they work fine just not via the hyperlinks in excel. I did a little research and found that this is a typical microsoft "feature" that has plagued many. I figured there has to be a way to pull a value from the cell that was clicked, launch the browser of your choice "prob have to be IE" and load the page. I don't really know if the protocols can be overridden via vba to get the SSO page to launch correctly.

Thoughts??
