EDATE has 2 arguments.

Convert the formula EDATE into a DATE formula, while the (3) arguments of the DATE function match the (2) arguments of the EDATE function.

The 1st argument of the EDATE function comes back 3 times in the DATE function, the 2nd argument only once. Aladin gave you an example on where you should put the arguments of both formulas.

I have tried to match, but I don't understand how it should be correct.

Could you convert this formula for me?

Could you convert this formula for me?

In A1 enter:

13-Jun-11

In B1 enter:

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+1,DAY(A1))

Format B1 as date: You'll see this cell display: 13-Jul-11

=EDATE(A1,1) would yield the same result.

I understand what EDATE is and what it does.
But I can't change it for this formula
=TEXT(C2+1,"dd.mm.yyyy")&"-"&TEXT(EDATE(DATE(YEAR(C2),MONTH(B2),DAY(B2)),MONTH(C2)-MONTH(B2)+3-MOD(MONTH(EDATE(B2,MONTH(C2)-MONTH(B2)+3))-MONTH(B2),3)),"dd.mm.yyyy")

That formula does not exactly emulate the EDATE function.

A2 = 1/31/2008

EDATE(A2,1) = 2/29/2008

Your formula = 3/2/2008
