Any ideas why Auto Row Height Adjust might now work properly?

Office 2010.
Some of my cells are responding to Format / Autofit Row Height command and some are not. Any idea why? The formulas in both the working and non-working cells are identical, save their cell references.

The contents of the cells are returned via formula from a cell on another sheet. I wonder if somehow the row height is being drawn from the length of the formula for those cells, rather than the content. Any ideas how to remedy?

The formula in the cells failing to auto adjust row height is:
="INTRO: "&INDIRECT("'Content List'!o2")

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Excel won't autofit the height of merged cells.

You're welcome. Unmerging cells is the universal solution to the problems they cause.
