Append Unique Data

I have a question that I am sure is not unique. I have one Workbook with a column of data in Sheet1 and a column of data in Sheet2.

The column on Sheet1 is my master customer list. Most customers are repeat customers but each month we get a few new customers. I show the current month sales on Sheet2. I want to compare the list on Sheet1 with the list on Sheet2. If there are names on Sheet2 that do not appear on Sheet1, I want to add those customer names to the bottom of the list on Sheet1.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at this tutorial..

Main thing is.. you will see the "Refers To:" section where you need to paste that formula (when you have created the new Named Range).

Yes I did and it worked great. I'm trying to understand it.

I've been busy trying to finish an audit in which I've discovered fraud and it is getting very contentious and now I've got to go to court to defend my work. I've got confidence in my work but it is a lot of work to get by the preliminaries.

I'm going to work on understanding it today. It is not enough that it works. I need to know why it works.
