Hello peeps,

Is there a way to continue the formulas when new data is entered in the next (bottom) row? In other words, I want the row formulas to apply wherever there is text. I don't want to assign formulas to the whole column as this increases the rows (and file size) unnecessarily. I wondered if there was a VBA I could use?

Ta muchly!

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Make your data into a formal Excel table (Insert ribbon tab -> Table). Then as you add new rows to the table, any formulas in the other columns will automatically flow down

I did try this, but it messes with my layout/formatting. Thank you anyway...

Can you give some details about that?

Do you have this setting in File -> Options -> Advanced?
It may help in some circumstances.
