hi. I have a sheet with three columns. Column A and B have 5000 entries. I need to fill column C with a duplicate entry all the way down. is there an easier way then to drag down from 1 to 5000? Some hotkey that says fill to the end?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Did you try using Autofill (enter the value in the first cell, point to the lower right hand corner of your cell with the entry you want to copy, and double-click on the cross)?

If it is incrementing instead of copying, one way to get around it is enter the first two entries, highlight both, then follow the same steps as above.
