Hello everyone, I have searched the board but can't quite see what I need.

I have my monthly periods across a row (E2:P2)

I have my actual data coming into row 5 (same columns as above). where there is no actual data the cell shows a zero.

what i am trying to do is forecast what the future periods of data are going to be based on the historic actual data. for instance if I am an period 5 (July) then I need to forecast in row 6 what the results are going to be for period 6 to period 12. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks for your time

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Depends on the forecasting technique you want to use and how much historical data you have.

Couple techniques include:
Simple average
Moving average
Weighted average
Weighted moving average
Exponential Smoothing
Linear Regression
ARIMA
