Hi there, I have a table with columns A to F. This has an actual table, i.e., I've actually formatted it into a table.

I would like to have a code that will automatically update column E with today's date, and column F with the user name, each time data is pasted into columns A to D.

Note that we usually paste multiple rows of data into A:D at the same time, so it is preferred that the code will complete column E and F for all the new rows.

I do not want column E and F to update each time someone updates something to existing rows of data in A:D. In other words, the date and time should only take the value the first time it was input into the sheet. It should not be recording the date it was updated or the person that updated it. It should only record the input time and the person that input the information.

Is this possible please?

I know there are other similar requests on the forum already, but I was unable to find out that works for me.

Thank you.
