Automatically add year to a list

I'm trying to construct a workbook where it will automatically add a year as time passes. In column A I have the years 2015 through 2022 in rows 1 through 8 and in cell B1 I have the formula =year(today()). When we get to 1/1/2023 i'd like it to add 2023 automatically in cell A9 and subsequent years to also fill as time goes on. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Starting from A1, pull down where ever you want:

=IF($B$1-2014>=ROW(),ROW()+2014,"")

If you're using 365, you could also do:

A1: =SEQUENCE(B1-2014,,2015)

No. If you want compatibility with older versions, you'll need a formula you copy down the rows, e.g. like @Flashbond's.
